Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd had an amazing 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO in second round. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. She fought her first big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was victorious in an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters, received her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous vote.
