Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14th of 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games as well as the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan region after she and her younger sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone discovered her love for gymnastics when she was just six years old during one of the field trips for daycare at Bannon's Gymnastix and was there for eleven years under the guidance of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a silver medal for vault and floor at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships of 2010, before she made her debut at the top level of gymnastics. In just two short years, she was the best at her discipline. What distinguished Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines across each of the four events: vaulting uneven bars balance beam as well as floor exercises.
